Ten Years Since Yesterday

I asked Anna how long ago the photo in yesterday’s post was taken at Disney. Anna does math just like every Mom. She takes how old her daughters are NOW minus how old the girls were THEN and that equals how long ago. No calculators or calendars needed. Easy peasy pudding and pie.

So Anna figured out it was 10 years ago. And I STILL have this top. ;-)

Oh, and btw? I ironed it just for you. And just look at how quickly it wrinkled. I never iron any more. I’m all about wash and wear. Out of the drier and right onto the hanger. Easy peasy pudding and pie. Which is why that top stays in my closet nowadays… it’s so not wash and wear, unless you l♥ve wrinkles. Then you’d be all set.

Anyway. Back to BWTB. We did not win. However, we may or may not have been laughing just a little bit too often and just a teensy bit too loud for some of the bingo biddy’s liking. They were tossing us some mighty lethal laser beam looks and some very threatening evil eyes. You could just feel them. You don’t want to mess with biddies. Just saying. :P

Anna, her sister and I will all get together again come Thursday for dinner and libations when I will get a chance to see Anna’s hubby and the girls and the rest of the fam dam. Al & Barbara will also join us. Or as Anna prefers to call Al, “Brother”. Long story. Just laugh and pretend I told you all about it, K? :P

Hey guess what? We’re SO done with July! Hello, August! Don’t forget to put some YAY in your Day today! xoxo

  1. I knew you would wear that top. It was the very first thing I noticed when I opened your site. Way cool and it sounds like you had a fabulous time. Good for you.

Have a terrific day. Big hugs and lotsa lovies and scritches to all our babies. :)

  2. I actually ironed a pair of pants while I was up in Rockport last week as they were a touch too wrinkly for my liking and the hotel had an iron and ironing board so I figured – why not? No doubt they were wrinkled again as soon as I put them on but oh well, I tried!

Oh dear, laughing too loudly at a Bingo game – what WERE you thinking? No wonder you didn’t win, you probably offended the Bingo Gods along with the Bingo Biddies! :-) Sounds like you had a great time, though, and it’s nice to read that you were out having fun and not home doing repairs of some sort!

  3. The white top with the blue flowers is really pretty!
My stuff gets wrinkled so fast, you’d never know I ironed it at all:)

Glad that you enjoyed bingo so much.

Just came by to say hello, Barb, and thank you for visiting my blog. Good Luck on the $300 amazon.com gift card giveaway:)

    And happy August!

  5. No laughing = no fun! They must take their bingo much too seriously!

I’m with Linda – glad that you were having a good time instead of remodeling the bathroom or something!

You look the same in this photo as you do in the recent pix I’ve seen of you. 10 years? wow

    Love all the blackboard quotations.

  6. I iron a few things. Not many, and not often.

  7. I am with you on the wash and wear…clothes, hair, everything!

Old friends are the bestest. Glad y’all are having fun.

    Big hugs, honey…
