How to make the most of a hurricane, according to my 13 year old niece

Disclaimer: For optimum results it helps if you are actually a 13 year old teenager, are terribly cute and have the body of a dancer and an athlete.

First, put on bikini and wait for the rain to start

Second, make sure you have somebody to record the event for posterity

Third, grab a bar of soap and work up a lather

Fourth, be sure to ham it up for the camera

Fifth, don't forget your closeup!

  1. Perfect! Oh, to have a bucket of that young energy again:) This young gal has the world in her hands and doesn’t even know it.

    Big hugs, honey…

  2. Well she has a point you know. I think she is spot-on. Just saying. She’s a cutie pie too.

Me and WordPress aren’t getting along very well. Sigh.

Have a terrific day. Big hug and lotsa lovies and scritches to all the babies. :)

  3. Too funny! Guess there really isn’t much else to do during a hurricane. Except watch the leaves sway, which is what Megan did a lot of. She was mesmerized by it.

  4. Good Monday morning to you Barb.
That made me smile – now she is really making lemonade out of lemons with her hurricane shower!

  5. Love her whimsy! thanks for the smile.
